A kind of meta issue: The app badly needs to be tested for accessibility (things like screen reader compatibility, keyboard navigability, braille terminal compatibility, if text labels work as expected, if there are any contrast issues with the CSS styles that are applied, ease of use, etc.).

I suspect that some of the "fixes" I applied for previous issues (e.g. #33) introduced accessibility issues of their own. Any such issues should be fixed as they are discovered, or separate issues be opened for them.
