This was discussed in the Matrix room. Making an issue for it here, as implementation is planned.

Current barriers mentioned by Kumi for implementation of Wikidata include the following:

  • Wikidata is in a "special" section of the endpoint used to fetch available projects and languages
  • Wikidata's site title is listed as "Wikipedia" in the above endpoint
  • Wikidata's language field for the above endpoint is listed as "wikidata"
