We should include a few new sections for the website:

  • Donations / Financial / Membership

    • We should probably be transparent about the monthly costs and how much we earn. But probably not list every single transactions.
    • How can people join private.coffee, what membership types are there. What monthly cost?
    • How can people donate or pay their membership fee.
    • We should be transparent about who is on the association board.
  • Publishing protocols: This probably also encourages us to do this properly.

  • Statutes of the Association

  • About Private.coffee

    • Our goals, values, what we do ...

And I wish we could get rid of this weird brown on the website. I hate how that looks.

As for the protocols, I would say we should probably do that in a Git repo instead of the website? What with ensuring that they can't be modified without anyone noticing, and stuff like that. Also, there's probably a difference between protocols of board meetings and stuff like the general assembly?

Ok yes sounds good. Should I upload them as like a PDF file? With a view only link to the cryptpad file?

Or. Y'know. Copy over, add a few #s, call it Markdown? Please use PrivateCoffee/chores#96 for this topic.

How about also listing the expenses in a repo?

I will add pages for:

  • Donation/Membership (this is financial stuff - I added a Bank account and a "get in touch if you want to join" section.)
  • Association (This covers the stuff regarding the association, so who is on the board, statutes, ...) Here we can also link the repos for expenses and protocols.

Definitely an option for now. I just don't see anyone actually taking care of that.

Not sure if that's a good idea, to be honest. Posting bank account details on a public page only invites people to enter them somewhere. Of course, we can always dispute any payments we don't recognize, but still...

FYI, your branch isn't doing so well in regards to accessibility, namely contrast.
