You should not use v2 images on v1 board because it will result in lost of ART data! Flash instruction (using U-Boot CLI and tftp server): 1. Configure PC with static IP 192.168.1.10 and tftp server. 2. Rename "sysupgrade" filename to "firmware.bin" and place it in tftp server directory. 3. Connect PC with one of RJ45 ports, power up the board and press "enter" key to access U-Boot CLI. 4. Use the following command to update the device to OpenWrt: "run lfw". Flash instruction (using U-Boot web-based recovery): 1. Configure PC with static IP 192.168.1.xxx(2-254)/24. 2. Connect PC with one of RJ45 ports, press the reset button, power up the board and keep button pressed for around 6-7 seconds, until LEDs start flashing. 3. Open your browser and enter 192.168.1.1, select "sysupgrade" image and click the upgrade button. This is the buildsystem for the OpenWrt Linux distribution. Please use "make menuconfig" to choose your preferred configuration for the toolchain and firmware. You need to have installed gcc, binutils, bzip2, flex, python, perl, make, find, grep, diff, unzip, gawk, getopt, subversion, libz-dev and libc headers. Run "./scripts/feeds update -a" to get all the latest package definitions defined in feeds.conf / feeds.conf.default respectively and "./scripts/feeds install -a" to install symlinks of all of them into package/feeds/. Use "make menuconfig" to configure your image. Simply running "make" will build your firmware. It will download all sources, build the cross-compile toolchain, the kernel and all choosen applications. To build your own firmware you need to have access to a Linux, BSD or MacOSX system (case-sensitive filesystem required). Cygwin will not be supported because of the lack of case sensitiveness in the file system. Sunshine! Your OpenWrt Community http://www.openwrt.org
